pearl of the orient

Time flies. I've been here in Hong Kong for almost 3 weeks now. I've got this strange feeling while in HK. Somehow, I don't feel like I can fit in, eventhough most locals think I'm one of them. When I don't speak, they can hardly tell that I'm not local. There are a lot of things here that I can not handle. The weather, the pace, the food, the high standard of living is drowning me. Luckily, it's only going to last for another 3 months and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm really looking forward to going home.....

Here's some pictures I took of the place I live in HK.
Sceneway Garden @ Lam Tin is where I live.

The view from the apartment in the day.
The night view (overseeing HK island).
The living room.
My bedroom.
Took this from the apartment before going to work. See the queue? It's for the mini bus.

not the whole apartment.. sharing it with 2 colleagues from Singapore... but we get a room by ourselves....considered quite a spacious apartment in HK considering the fact that most of the apartments r tiny...
